Marketing Manager/Copywriter

As UK Marketing Manager you will work within the global marketing function and will lead and contribute to a wide variety of elements in the marketing mix with a strong focus on copy-writing.

From Thought-Leadership and copy-writing to Awards-Strategy and case-study creation, this role is exciting, fast paced and varied. 

You will collaborate with almost every department in UNIT9 collating information, deep-diving into the most exciting projects in the world and forming unique opinions all geared towards raising UNIT9’s profile and generating leads.

Job Description 

Your role will encompass, but not be limited to the following:

Awards: Defining an awards strategy for local and global awards. Working with project teams to collate all information, gain client buy-in and then crafting and writing entries, pulling on external resources where needed.

Thought Leadership: Staying plugged into the multitude of UNIT9 projects across all disciplines (Innovation, AR/VR, Events and Digital) to concept and write thought leadership pieces for trade press and owned channels. 

Case Studies: Writing copy for case-studies, concepting and story-boarding case study videos

Events: Working with the New Business team to conceptualise, curate and run internal events and sourcing and organising involvement in client and partner events.

Newsletter: Curating projects and news for external newsletters as well as writing copy.

Paid Media: Defining and running a paid media strategy designed to generate inbound leads.

Social Media: Assisting the wider marketing team to write selected social media posts.
